Challenge: While many Rochelle residents have lived there for more than a generation, the acquisition of millions of dollars in new industry to the community has not persuaded new managers and employees to live in Rochelle. Instead, more often than not, they are choosing to reside in other nearby incorporated cities, or in rural areas. Rochelle’s downtown gives a “first impression” that is less than desirable. Unkempt buildings, vacant retail stores, and a lack of vibrancy cast a poor first impression of the community.
Solution:Rochelle worked with our team to develop a Branding, Development, and Marketing Action Plan. This plan is helping Rochelle’s organizations to work in a unified effort to revitalize their downtown and reposition themselves as a desirable place to live, raise a family, and start a business.
