Challenge: After losing their timber industry, Kenora needed to figure out their "second act" as a community. They wanted to be able to attract visitors from Winnipeg and other surrounding areas with the ultimate goal of increasing local and visitor spending.
Solution: Roger's Single Community Branding Program helped guide Kenora to determine what they should be known for as a community. Through research and analysis of Kenora's main assets, it was clear to see that Kenora should hang their hat on Lake of the Woods. The community narrowed their focus to become North America's Premier Boating Destination. Great things are happening in Kenora!
