Challenge: Chautauqua County, New York, is located in a largely rural area in the southwest corner of New York State. Chautauqua County needed help to develop a special identity that will cement them as a unique visitor destination and attract a growing visitor market.
Solution: During a series of on-site visits, community outreach, feedback, and research, Roger and his team found that Chautauqua County could emerge as The World’s Learning Center; the premier destination for leisure learning opportunities in the Eastern U.S. and, eventually, the world.
Roger’s recommendations for Chautauqua County include expanding their learning experiences and developing additional programs, developing additional diversionary activities, and evaluation of amenities to ensure visitors have a convenient and comfortable stay. Marketing recommendations include targeted sales activities, a first-class website, expanded PR strategy and strategic advertising.
